Indigenous Collaboration

At Underwear for Humanity, we recognise that true allyship requires both learning and unlearning. We are committed to deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and ongoing racism in Australia. This journey is not just about acknowledgment—it’s about action.

We know that reconciliation is more than words. It’s about systemic change, economic inclusion, and ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have access to opportunities, using our privilege to open doors.

Tangible Actions for Economic Inclusion

We use our platform in meaningful ways:

  • Indigenous Business Directory

We have created an Indigenous Business Directory on our website to encourage our community to shop directly from First Nations-owned brands. Supporting these businesses is one of the most impactful ways to support economic self-determination.

  • Investing in Cultural Education

We proudly partner with Country as Teacher, an organisation supporting Indigenous youth to continue to deepen their connection to culture through immersive, on-Country programs.

  • Building Pathways

Through direct funding, partnerships, and visibility, we create opportunities for First Nations professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs. We aim to use our business as a vehicle for systemic change.

  • Representation That’s Real

We believe representation matters. Our campaigns feature First Nations talent, not as an afterthought but as an integral part of our storytelling. We work directly with Indigenous creatives to ensure that the work is respectful, collaborative, and empowering.

  • Rent Payment

We give 50 cents from every product sold to support Indigenous-led initiatives and cultural programs. In 2024, this funding helped Aboriginal youth attend cultural camps, supported remote communities with access to essential products, and contributed to grassroots projects that build economic and social inclusion.

  • Prioritising Indigenous-Led Businesses

We actively source from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers, ensuring that our supply chain contributes to economic empowerment.

  • We Value Relationships & Learning From First Nations Voices

We deeply value our friendships and partnerships with First Nations advisors and contributors. Their guidance and generosity in sharing knowledge help shape our approach, ensuring we act with integrity, respect, and a commitment to meaningful collaboration.
